Kansas City Musuem Review

Review: This was going to be awesome. It should have been awesome. Everything about it screamed awesome. But it's not, don't go.

This is why: The main musuem is closed and will be for the next 3 to 7 years. That's right, 3 to 7 years, maybe less if it gets out for good behavior.

Here's the deal. The website proclaims that the Corrinthan hall is closed but states that admission is free for the other things. Having never been there, I thought we would get to check out the actual musuem. However, it appears that the Hall is the musuem. I thought that the website was misleading and there were other things to do there. There's not. They direct you to the Visitors Center, which is really the gift shop. They say that there are things to see there, but there's not. There are a few plaques on the wall next to the T-shirts but thats it. You can't even walk the grounds. You have to walk around on the outside.

But in it's defense, the mansion that is the actual musuem is freaking awesome and I'm sure that when my kids are teenagers they can't wait to go with me. If you do go though, there are some really cool houses around it. Historic stuff but people are living there so you can't actually tour them. So we just played in thier front yards. That's right, we're rebels. Take that bad website! We're fucking with your neighbors, see how they like you now.

Well, we actually just played on the sidewalk in front of thier houses. But I spit on the street, so take that!

All in all, this one was a bust. Skip it.
